Newsec – Mektagonen
The building, situated where national road 40 connects towards E6 in Gothenburg, was constructed in the 1960s as an industrial property. It was totally renovated in 2007 and now houses many different businesses such as a hotel, restaurant, gym, grocery store and offices.
Assignment/solution
The property had modern installations and control systems. However, there were still deficiencies in the system collaboration which created problems with the indoor climate. Ecopilot® was installed and its only assignment is to over-modulate ventilation, heating and cooling systems so that they are adjusted to each other. It also takes into account the property’s thermal storage capacity as well as internal and external loads.
