An office building which is located on Magnus Ladulåsgatan close to Medborgarplatsen in Södermalm, Stockholm. The property has a deep red brick façade which constitutes an elegant contrast to the neighbouring properties’ light functional façades.
Ecopilot® over-modulates the existing system which was installed a few years ago. Problems with system coordination in the property were identified, which Ecopilot® would solve.
Heating: 20 kWh/m2
Cooling: 22 kWh/m2
34 tonnes CO2/year
By working with the thermal inertia in the building, the energy consumption of ventilation, heating and cooling has declined. Ecopilot® Analysis has identified problem areas in the property, which if they were rectified could reduce the energy costs further. The property owner has decided to install more Ecopilots® based on this successful project.
Fatburssjön 8 now has a D-classification in accordance with the European standard for energy efficient buildings. This corresponds to 100–135 per cent of the new construction requirement for premises. Without an Ecopilot® installation, Fatburssjön 8 would have an E-classification.
